Who Do You Share My Information With?

To Create a PONS ID and Related Account
The PONS website will allow you to create a “PONS ID” based on your personal information. This convenient service saves you time and allows for easier use of our web services and web hosted applications. Here’s how it works: You create a personal profile — providing your name, phone number, email address, and in some cases your mailing address— and choose a password and password hint (such as the month and day of your birth) for security. The system saves your information and assigns you a personalPONSID,becauseit’suniqueandeasytoremember. The next time you order from PONS, all you need to do is enter your PONS ID and password; the system looks up the information it needs to assist you. In addition, if you update the information associated with your PONS ID, it will be available for all of your transactions with PONS.
To Create an Affiliate ID and Participate in the PONS Affiliate Network
If you apply to become an Affiliate, we will use the personal information provided in the Affiliate application to create and manage your Affiliate ID and account, to provide you with any information or materials necessary to act asanAffiliate,andtocommunicatewithyouregarding your participation as an Affiliate.
How Is My Personal Information Protected?
PONS takes precautions — including administrative, technical, and physical measures — to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
